Register below for the National Day of Action (Thursday 19 Nov)

Ways to take part:

1. Visit your Member of Parliament’s (MP) electorate office to deliver a holiday card in person (especially if your MP is in a member of the Government)

Supporters will be hand-delivering holiday cards to their MP’s electorate office to tell them what impact the Christmas cut will have on millions, and why we need a permanent and adequate increase to JobSeeker, Youth Allowance and other income support payments.

2. Call your Member of Parliament’s (MP) electorate office

If you are unable to visit your MP, call your MP’s electorate office on or before the Day of Action. Our political leaders are discussing the fate of income support payments right now so the sooner the better.

3. Contact members of the Expenditure Review Committee

The members of the Expenditure Review Committee (ERC) are the key decision-makers of income support policy. They will soon be receiving of cards from all over the country so let’s flood them with phone calls and hand-delivered cards on Thursday 19 November.

4. Organise your own actions!

We have grassroots supporters planning amazing actions in their communities, from tables with holidays cards to sign (1.5m apart) to putting RTRFG flyers in letterboxes around their neighbourhood. Fill in the form below to let us know what you’re planning on doing so we can support you.

(Not sure who your MP is? Look it up on the AEC website.)

Your health and safety is the top priority so please make sure your activities are COVID-safe and adheres to your State or Territory’s Coronavirus restrictions.
